Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of sportago.app ("SportaGo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. This document is provided in English, which is its authoritative version.

1. What SportaGo is

SportaGo is a platform that lets organizers publish and run tournaments and lets players discover, register for and follow them. Tournaments are run by their organizers: the organizer — not SportaGo — is responsible for the event, its rules, its venue, its refund decisions and its conduct. Except where these terms say otherwise, SportaGo is not a party to the arrangement between a player and an organizer.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Users under 18 need the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
We may suspend accounts that break these terms, abuse other users or attempt to manipulate competitions, payments or results.

3. Playing in tournaments

A registration becomes binding when you complete its payment step (or confirm a free registration). Entry fees are set by the organizer. Online payment processing fees (card / FPX), where applicable, are shown before you pay.
Online payments are processed by licensed third-party payment providers. Bank-transfer payments go directly to the organizer's own bank account and are verified by the organizer.
Refunds, cancellations and category changes are decided by the organizer under the organizer's own policy. SportaGo can help you contact an organizer but does not hold player funds.
Tournament sport involves physical exertion and a risk of injury. You participate at your own risk and must follow the organizer's safety instructions and any statement of risk they publish.
Your name, team name, draws, schedules, scores and results are displayed publicly as part of the competition record.

4. Streaming and media

Some tournaments live-stream matches and keep recordings publicly viewable. By participating in such a tournament you consent to your name, gameplay and likeness appearing in those streams and recordings. Organizers who upload logos, banners and other media confirm they hold the rights to them and grant SportaGo a licence to display them on the platform (and, where the organizer has opted in, to make presentation enhancements to them).

Organizers must describe their event accurately, comply with applicable law, and honour the registrations and payments they accept.
Bank-transfer collections must use the organizer's own bank account. SportaGo never acts as the organizer's banker.
Platform service fees (published in the organizer console before you enable paid features) are invoiced after the tournament completes. Published invoices are final tax records.
To protect billing integrity, registration and payment statuses lock once a tournament is completed; corrections after that point are made through SportaGo support.

6. Community content

You are responsible for what you post. No unlawful, deceptive, infringing, hateful or harassing content; no spam. We may remove content and restrict posting to keep tournament pages usable, and organizers and SportaGo moderate tournament feeds.

The SportaGo name, product and software are our intellectual property; content you submit remains yours, licensed to us for display on the platform.
You may not scrape at abusive rates, probe or disrupt the service, or attempt to access data that isn't yours.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of organizers, players or other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Membership

SportaGo membership is an optional paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that unlocks the member benefits listed on the membership page. We may add, change or withdraw benefits with notice on the site.
Automatic renewal. A membership renews at the end of each paid period, at the price shown on your membership page, and is charged through online billing on the renewal date, until you cancel. Prices are shown before any applicable tax unless stated otherwise.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your membership page. Your membership then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed. Nothing is charged after a cancellation you made before the renewal date; if a renewal charge nonetheless goes through after you cancelled, it is refunded.
Price changes. A new price applies from the effective date given in our notice, to renewals on or after that date and never to a period you have already paid for. Where the law or an app store requires your consent, the new price applies only once you have agreed to it. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you do not want to continue at the new price.
Refunds. Apart from the cases above, subscription fees for a period that has started are not refunded, except where the law requires it. If SportaGo ends your membership before the end of a period you have paid for, the unused time becomes a refund decision by SportaGo.
Free months. SportaGo may grant free membership months. They start when your paid coverage ends, cannot be exchanged for money and end if your account is closed.
Purchases through an app store. A membership bought in a mobile app store is billed and renewed by that store under its terms; refunds for those purchases are handled by the store.
Deleting your account cancels a membership billed through the site at once; any unused paid time becomes a refund decision by SportaGo. A membership bought through an app store must be cancelled by you in that store.

9. Changes, termination and law

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced on the site and continued use means acceptance. You may stop using SportaGo and request account deletion at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Contact: support@sportago.app.
